Melanotan II (MT-2 )

Melanotan-2 (MT-II) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analogue of α-MSH and a non-selective melanocortin receptor agonist (primarily MC1R, MC3R, MC4R and MC5R; minimal activity at MC2R). It is supplied as a high-purity lyophilized powder and used in research on melanogenesis/photobiology and central melanocortin pathways.
