Bacteriostatic Water for Injection (BWFI) is sterile water preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, a widely used antimicrobial preservative that inhibits bacterial growth in multi-use vials. It is the recommended diluent for reconstitution of lyophilized peptide research compounds including GLP-3, MOTS-C, BPC-157, TB-500, Tesamorelin, and all blended formulations.
